how do u guys feel to invest in antiques?

stock market is down and down .... how do u guys charge of antiquities investment that buying auction house like Sotheby u? it is the annual return on investment, such as the famous painting, vase, Chinese antiquities, Egyptian antiquities, etc. etc.? any1 here experience in these areas and what are the returns? I think I have around $ 50K to play around that.

I do not consider them as investments, they are collectibles. However, some would disagree. As mentioned, they can be very tricky. They are not regulated, price subjectively, and can be highly illiquid, just name a few of my problems with them. This is an area that you need to be an expert if your going to "invest" because you really need to understand what you are buying. Since I am not, I do not.
