Ayala Museum in Makati ... is it worth a visit?

I spent three weeks living literally across the museum, but it has never caught my interest. What else, really? what I just missed a quality tourism experience by ignoring the Museum Ayala or have I done myself a favor by not going there?

At least you saw the building. Here are some important facts --- The museum has been considered in the late 1950s by the artist Mr. Fernando Zobel de Ayala and was officially inaugurated in 1967 as a project of Ayala Foundation, Inc., which was then known as the Filipinas Foundation, Inc. The building was designed by National Artist for Architecture Leandro V. Locsin, is known for its juxtaposition huge boulders, which has large areas that have been adapted for the Museum's collections and exhibitions. What you missed --- Diorama experience the heart of historical museum collections is a group of sixty who handcrafted dioramas depicting the history of the Philippines. These dioramas were made by hand by artists from Paete, Laguna and was a prominent attraction of the museum since its completion in 1973. This collection is sixty major events and themes in Philippine history, from pre-historic recognition of Philippine Independence by the United States July 4, 1946. The exhibition ends with people power, which is a multimedia presentation that chronicles the events leading to the 1986 EDSA People Power Revolution, including the martial law years. Since its renovation in 2004 (managed by the son of Locsin's), the Museum also been home to the Museum Cafe, with creative dishes of Filipino culinary artist and internationally renowned chef, Sau del Rosario. The Café was designed by the architect Budja Layug and Royal Pineda. It is located on the ground floor of the Museum of Glass Wing. Yes, I would say that you missed an opportunity. There's always a next time.
