I prefer answers with a recipe that you've tasted ... Love Jade Dragon's plain fried rice and pepper steak ... I can not find a recipe close enough that tasty ... I moved and there not anywhere near the Jade Dragon here .... : (Oh how I just got finished doing a recipe that I found on foodnetwork.com for ... fried rice, he requested that the oyster sauce .... omg I never wanted to vomit so bad in my life ..... If your recipe calls for oyster sauce if Please just do not answer ... ugh
This is so delicious. Restaurant Style Fried Rice INGREDIENTS 2 cups enriched white rice 4 cups water 2 / 3 cup chopped baby carrots 1 / 2 cup frozen green peas 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 2 tablespoons soy sauce eggs to taste sesame oil to taste (optional) DIRECTIONS In a saucepan, combine rice and water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 20 minutes. In a small saucepan, boil carrots in water 3 to 5 minutes. Drop the peas into boiling water, then drain. Do Heat the wok over high heat. Pour the oil, then add carrots and peas and cook about 30 seconds. Crack in eggs, stirring quickly to scrambled eggs with vegetables. Add the cooked rice. Stir in soy sauce, rice and toss to coat. Drizzle with sesame oil and mix again. This is a good recipe for families that have good taste, but can not really afford expensive steaks. Poor Man's Pepper Steak INGREDIENTS 1 pound cube steak Salt and pepper to taste all-purpose flour for dredging 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 1 medium onion, sliced 1 clove garlic, chopped 1 green pepper, sliced 2 cups water Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Season the steak with salt and pepper to taste. Dredge in flour and shake off excess. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the steaks in oil, then transfer to a large shallow pan. Sprinkle the garlic, onion and green pepper on top, pour in water, and wrap with foil. Bake preheated until steak is tender and vegetables are tender, about 1 1 / 2 hours.
