This donation was bought in New Zealand and appears to be carved ivory or soapstone. I looked at the pictures through the Internet I could find, and saw nothing the same. She is a goddess, a circle scrolls on his stomach, arms raised above his head. I like to know what she represents.
Id be inclined to say it is a pagan goddess. The circle scroll you mention is a symbol of the circle death and rebirth of life every things.It life also represents the feminine divine power and energy. Goddess spiral represents the power creator of the Divine Feminine and the end never circle of creation.
