Brass Ring

I want to buy a ring on the Internet and it is 18kt gold plating on brass. But I'm not sure if it will still turn my finger green and I do not buy it, if it. thank you very much for helping me!
Depends on how they made the veneer. If I understand correctly, plating is generally done in different layers to prevent migration in this case, brass in the upper layer. Usually, the layers run copper, silver, gold. I do not know if people over the copper plating layers do at all. I'd be very wary of scams. Not that it could not really be 18K gold plated on brass, but it sets my nerves cacophony. Grandpa
