How did the ancient Chinese bury their dead?

I am doing research on the Zhou, Qin and Han in ancient China. Emperors and nobles were buried in preparing graves, but I find it difficult to find evidence of how non-elite citizens of these dynasties were buried in order to make an accurate comparison. All the knowledge or resources on the issue would be greatly appreciated!

During the dynasty Zhou, there is the practice by the minority of the coffin hanging (see source 1), in which people put their dead in wooden coffins, placed them in caves and precipices. Although the Qin Dynasty is famous for the mausoleum of first emperor, there is a recent discovery in Xi'an (see source 2) a commoner burial site with over 200 people buried as well as items such as kettles, pots, jars, axes and swords. This indicates there is the concept of a "cemetery" in the Qin dynasty and also gives an insight into burial practices of the time. Unfortunately, it is not a lot more information as it is a very recent discovery (no more than a month before). It is Archaeological evidence of graves of the family during the Han dynasty, an example is the search Mawangdui. (see source 3), it is relatively new burial site of the Han Dynasty in Hunan Province in 2006 (see source 4). In both sites, it is the use of coffins for burial.
